Ornament for ?

I've just sent this cheery chap off on his travels - at least unlike the real Santa he won't have to go down any chimneys!

I've loved seeing the ornaments others have stitched so far - I would love to receive any of them, and I can't wait to see what turns up in my mail :o)

Ornament will soon be flying

My ornament is done, boxed and will be mailed out tomorrow (Monday), flying far, far from my home in the USA. My digital camera is not working at the moment, but I choose a pattern from the Just CrossStitch 2007 Special Christmas Issue by The Sunflower Seed, "A Star, A Star". I enjoyed every minute that I spent making it and hope that it is appreicated by its new owner.

Happy Holidays to everyone.

And this is for?

Something Very Different

I made this ornament this week and it'll be in the mail tomorrow. I know it's not cross stitch, but I decided to do different things this year for ornaments - experiment. The background fabrics are all silk scraps. I hope she likes the experiment - it's a completely unique design by me.

In the Mail Today-on its way to ????

I'm not sure if we're supposed to keep the recipients a surprise until they get their ornaments, so I won't say who this is going to. The pattern is called "Snowed In" by Something in Common, and was offered in the December 2006 issue of The Gift of Stitching Magazine. I stitched it on 28-count Lugana, and it's mounted on green felt and a wooden square backing.
