On it's way

I finally finished it! It looks a little rough, the finishing was fiddly trying to hold stuffing, fold the edges, and stitch at the same time. I hope it isn't disappointing to it's new owner. This is the first time I tried finishing this way, so I was learning as I went. The idea came from a 1982 Vanessa Ann leaflet called Mistletoe Express. I just changed fabric colors, floss colors, and added 4 other motifs.

It goes in the mail tomorrow morning, winging it's way across the sea! I hope it arrives in time.

Today I received the beautiful ornament that Mylene made for me. it's absolute gorgious. I LOVE it. Thank you so very much. She also send me a lovely card, great buttons , some lovely dmc and a small x stitch.
It's too dark now for good photo's but I will make some tomorrow and then I will post them here.

Wow, everyone's ornaments look so wonderful !!!!! Congratulations to all!!!!

This little goodie is ready to wing it's way to a secret locale in Europe.

He's based on a Trail Creek Farm pattern from one of the JCS ornament issues, but I was compelled to change all the colors, add metallic, switch the word from "Joyous" to "Merry," and add that JABC cardinal. What can i say, I can't help but fiddle with patterns.

Denise received my ornament!
